Noam Chomsky- Independent Media and Media's Invisible Powers  This week on Masterclass, our assigned segment was taught by the "father of modern linguistics" Noam Chomsky. Chomsky is an American Professor and one of the most brilliant minds of our time. During his lecture, Clear emphasizes and expands upon the small habits that help people become successful. Some of his main points include consistency, goals setting, having a high quality system to achieve these goals, and tips to stay on track. Clear uses many sports analogies in order to make his point clear. He compares reaching a goal with a scalper working on a marble stone. If after 100 strikes of the hammer a large chunk of stone breaks off, it wasn't the last hit that broke the marble, it was the 99 previous strikes that made it possible. It's the same thing with getting in shape. One workout will not make you fit, but it's the 100 previous workouts that built upon one another to made you get into shape. Clear makes sure to reiterate that a good system and consistency is the m...
